The smell of wet concrete always reminds me of the divide between the physical world and the digital map. I adjusted my aperture to focus on a storefront that technically did not exist. I spent three months fighting a hard suspension for a plumbing client whose listing was nuked simply because they shared a suite…
I spent three months fighting a hard suspension for a plumbing client whose listing was nuked simply because they shared a suite number with a defunct law firm. Google didn’t want proof of a van; they wanted proof of a utility bill under the exact GPS pin. The air in that basement office smelled like…
I smell the wet concrete of a city morning after a heavy rain. I see the storefront through a cracked lens; the data is rarely as clean as the glass. The truth about local search is hidden in the glitches. I spent three months fighting a hard suspension for a plumbing client whose listing was…
I spent three months fighting a hard suspension for a plumbing client whose listing was nuked simply because they shared a suite number with a defunct law firm.
